Lace bodice

Beautiful antique late Victorian or early Edwardian lace bodice.

A lovely bodice with a pigeon breast shape. As you can see, it does not fit a mannequin like the one in the photos,it would look much better on a wasp waist antique mannequin, but also looks stunning on a hanger.The bodice has lovely lace ruching at the front, trimmed with a cream coloured silk ribbon. It has a high stand up collar, though in the pictures it is flat, it is actually a lovely scalloped collar. The sleeves are amazing, beautiful tambour lace wide 3/4 sleeves with embroidery and scalloped cuffs.

The bodice measures 62 cms at the waist and 87 cms at the chest. In excellent condition.
