Claret jugBeautiful antique Victorian cut glass and silverplated claret jug, ca. 1880.
A very lovely claret jug, high quality cut glass and lovely ornate engraved silverplated fittings. The silverplate has been partly polished off around the engravings (which is expected for this type of silverplate and age) exposing the darker grey pewter underneath and giving it a lovely patina. In good condition, no damage to the glass or metal. Height approx. 32 cms.
