18th century silkwork embroideryGorgeous 18th century silkwork embroidery of a flower basket, with original glass and frame.
Beautiful colours, and very fine emboidery work. In original frame with glass, with passe-partout in black and gold painted on the back of the glass. It does show it's age, but we think that's a big part of it's charm, and silkworks like this are a rare find!
The total meaurements are 27 x 22,5 cms, the embroidery itself measures 17 x 13 cms. Signed and dated Jane Brooks, 1799.
