Christening gownArticle code: 151026 Beautiful antique white cotton christing gown with very fine embroidery and broderie anglaise, ca. 1880 - 1890.
A very nice gown, not too decorated, but with lovely very fine details. The front of the bodice is covered in very fine white work and broderie anglaise, trimmed with scalloped ruching that extends into the lovely short sleeves. The gown has a very wide skirt, tightly gathered at the waist, with pintucks above the hemline. In very good condition, measures approx. 95 cms long.
